The projects featured on this website were almost exclusively prepared by graduates of UBC’s Witnessing Auschwitz research seminar, and by scholars and educators who had the privilege of accompanying the groups during their journey.
Students’ research projects were developped under the guidance of Dr. Bożena Karwowska and members of the Research Center of the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum. Revisions and final editing was supervised by Dr. Anja Nowak – herself an assisstant and graduate of the Witnessing Auschwitz seminar 2014, 2015 & 2016.
